VU Shop - Terms and Conditions

The VU Shop and Victoria University Merchandise Online Portal are operated by Zinc Group Pty Ltd on behalf of Victoria University (ABN: 83 776 954 731), the owner of the merchandise and associated brand.
By accessing the VU Shop website or purchasing products from the online portal or physical store, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.
“We”, “us”, “our” refers to Zinc Group Pty Ltd, the operator of the VU Shop and Merchandise Online Portal on behalf of Victoria University.
“VU Shop” refers to both the Victoria University Retail Store and the Merchandise Online Portal.
“You”, “your” refers to the user of the website or customer purchasing from the store.
You agree to use this website in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms and Conditions.
All content, including text, images, product descriptions and trademarks, is protected by intellectual property laws. Use of this content without permission is prohibited.
Orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
Once your order is submitted and payment is confirmed, a confirmation email will be sent to you.
We reserve the right to cancel or decline any order, including but not limited to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.
Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
Payments must be made at the time of order via the available payment methods.
Transactions are processed securely through third-party providers. We do not store your payment information.
Delivery is available to Australian addresses and selected international locations.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only. We are not liable for delays outside our control.
International customers are responsible for any local duties, taxes, or customs charges.
6.1 Change-of-Mind Returns
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, unworn, in original condition, with tags attached and proof of purchase.
- Return postage is at the customer’s expense (within Australia only).
6.2 Exchanges
- Exchanges are available for Australian orders only. Please contact us before sending any items back.
- Return items must be accompanied by a prepaid, self-addressed satchel.
- If the requested item is unavailable, a refund will be issued.
- International orders are not eligible for exchange, but refunds may apply where conditions are met.
6.3 Faulty, Incorrect or Damaged Items
- If your item is faulty, incorrect or damaged, contact us within 21 days of delivery.
- A Return Authorisation will be issued, and return postage costs will be covered.
- Items must be returned with proof of purchase.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method once the returned item has been inspected.
Refunds are provided where an item is:
- Faulty or defective
- Not of acceptable quality
- Not fit for its intended purpose
You may be asked to provide evidence that the fault was not caused by misuse.
We aim to ensure all product descriptions and imagery are accurate.
Colour and design may vary slightly depending on your device and screen settings.
All content on the VU Shop website is the property of Victoria University or licensed to Zinc Group Pty Ltd. It must not be copied, reused or distributed without permission.

To the extent permitted by law, neither Zinc Group Pty Ltd nor Victoria University is liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the VU Shop or any purchased products.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in Victorian courts.
